Light and the way it touches the objects fascinates me. For this reason my still life paintings contain so many translucent and transparent objects and reflective surfaces. The light in these paintings is as much what the paintings are about as are the solid objects. The elusiveness of light, its changing moods, and its emotive qualities are a constant process of discovery.
